MTAC and Mail.dat Updates
Just because MTAC only meets a few times a year, it doesn’t mean that the work done in committees stops. This week I will be participating in subgroup meetings for Workgroup #111, which deals with identifying gaps and defining solutions for adoption of PostalOne! by lettershops and mail service providers. We are working on tangible ways to make your PostalOne! participation easier to accomplish.
Also in the works is a new Mail.dat specification to coincide with the new USPS rates. This spec will be called 07-1, and will be out March-April, for an early May implementation.
