Automatic Postal Data Updates System: Your Automated Service from Window Book!
Using
Automatic Postal Data Updates System from Window Book
Automatic Postal Data Updates System is a new automated system for updating
your Destination Data so that you can stay up to date on a daily basis with changes
from the U.S. Postal Service. It includes both DropShip and Labeling List information
and is updated as these changes appear on the USPS web site.
How it works:
Data is delivered by the Window Book Scheduler, which is a service that will
run locally on your machine for a standalone installation, or on the network for
a network installation.
Setup and System Requirements: In order to set up Automatic Postal
Data Updates System you will need to install the Window Book Scheduler and
its subcomponents, called plug-ins. For this you will need a computer with Windows
XP or higher and .NET Framework 3.5 or higher installed on the machine.

Questions
What Window Book programs are affected?
DAT-MAIL™, Post Master™, TagMaster™, DropShipIT™ and Postal
Package Partner™ with Open and Distribute are all capable of using this new
service.
How is this different than what I’ve got now?
- You will no longer need to do updates manually using the download from the Window
Book website - the service downloads and applies the new data automatically, out
of sight, on a schedule that you determine.
- The Service will allow daily updates to the Drop Ship data which was being updated
weekly.
- The data itself will now appear with version numbers as well as dates (see below):
