The USPS has PAVE certified Window Book's mailing software, DAT-MAIL™ and Post Master™, for their Postage Statement Facsimiles in Cycle J.

Mailers Can Easily Apply for Mailer IDs Online Now

Window Book launches a complimentary website, http://www.mailersid.com to help mailers get their Mailer IDs easily in preparation for Intelligent Mail Full Service. "www.Mailersid.com" is a very simple to use website that explains what you need to know about getting Mailer IDs and automatically fills in the application forms electronically so mailers can submit it to the USPS. Many mailers still do not have the Mailer ID (MID) they need and now is the time to get them.

The Mailer ID is a unique 6 or 9 digit code issued by the Postal Service. It is required in all Intelligent Mail barcodes and is used by the Postal Service to identify the mail owners and/or mailing agents.

The USPS has introduced a new smaller Priority Mail Flat-Rate Box effective January 18th, 2009. This new box is priced the same as the Flat-Rate Envelope and provides an excellent option for customers mailing smaller items such as jewelry and electronics. Postal Package Partner now supports Small Flat Rate Boxes (8-5/8 x 5-3/8 x 1-5/8 inches).
