eDoc Simplifies Your Mail - MD Service Manager Simplifies your eDoc
In this challenging economy, everyone wants to be able to work smarter not harder and get more done in a shorter amount of time. If you are using the PostalOne! system to upload your Mail.dat files, Window Book’s MD Service Manager will automate the monitoring of your PostalOne! upload and receipt files – and will make your job easier by efficiently processing your PostalOne! transmissions. So, whether you process just a few files a day - or hundreds of files a day – start 2012 out right by scheduling a customized presentation of MD Service Manager, and see how it will help you!
The way things are right now, you manually upload your files to PostalOne! using the interactive MDR Client system – and are then left to monitor their screen in order to track the successes and failures. Don’t waste this valuable time anymore! Let MD Service Manager do all the uploading and monitoring for you automatically. This tool interfaces with the PostalOne! MDR Client system in “batch mode” to push your files up to PostalOne!, monitor the log files and status receipts and organize all of this data by Job for you. Check out what else MD Service Manager can do:
Configurable to monitor USPS Production, TEM or CAT environments

The following is another excerpt from Window Book’s latest educational white paper: eDoc & PostalOne!: Why the USPS is Pushing for eDoc
The USPS® Gateway: PostalOne!
One of the great misconceptions about eDoc is that it’s new. Many people believe it was created as part of the USPS Intelligent Mail program in 2008. But, nothing could be further from accurate. Electronic documentation has been around since the inception of - what is now called - the USPS PostalOne! system back in the early 1990s. Accessed through a portal called the Business Customer Gateway, PostalOne! is an electronic suite of services developed for business mailers by the USPS to improve the mailing process and simplify the mailing experience. It is a web-based alternative to the outdated manual paper based mailing method that enables mailers and the Postal Service to better manage presort data, acceptance and verification, postage statements, postage payments, drop-ship appointments, tracking, and reconciliation – all processed electronically in a paperless environment.
By transitioning to this web-based technology, all the participants will benefit from an automated system which results in greater accuracy, efficiency, and expedited service....
eDoc and PostalOne!: They’re What’s Best for You and the USPS
To educate mailers and the postal industry as a whole about electronic documentation (eDoc) and why the Postal Service is beginning to push it harder than ever, Window Book has published an informative white paper titled, “eDoc & PostalOne!: They're What's Best for You and the USPS
.” In this 21-page paper mailers will learn why it is critical to begin using eDoc in their operations in order to: get the best postal rates now, prepare for the future with the USPS, stay competitive in the mailing industry now, be eligible for special incentive programs that are coming out, and best manage the data about their mailings.
If you need help generating and/or submitting eDoc to PostalOne!, please call 800-524-0380 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. We can help you with all the nuts and bolts involved with getting started with eDoc!

DAT-MAIL Prep™ - Save tons of processing time with your Mail.dat files
Do you use Mail.dat files to communicate mailing information electronically with the United States Postal Service® (USPS® ) and your partners? Then, you must know how critical it is to be able to configure the Mail.dat data – view, validate, edit, split, merge, convert – quickly and efficiently to meet production and delivery deadlines.
If you don’t have the right tools, it can be very time consuming to import and validate your Mail.dat data; sometimes you even have to re-start your import every time you encounter a validation error - and it can take a very long time to process these files.
Window Book’s new product, DAT-MAIL Prep is the perfect solution for anyone who has to work with Mail.dat data, and is a stand-alone product that mailers can use to do the initial ‘bulk’ processing before they actually import Mail.dat files into their post-presort software.
DAT-MAIL Prep Viewer: view your Mail.dat and CSA files
DAT-MAIL Prep Editor: update, edit, validate and convert Mail.dat files (perfect for comminglers!)
DAT-MAIL Prep Ultra: include all the functionalities above AND Mail.dat Splitter and Merger features.
