NEW Intelligent Mail Barcode on Letter and Flat Pieces
Postal Package Partner has implemented the New Intelligent Mail Barcode on First Class Flat and Letter Labels and also on Bound Printed Matter Flat Labels.

The USPS is transitioning the new Intelligent Mail barcode to eventually replace the existing POSTNET Barcode. The Intelligent Mail barcode is a 65-Bar USPS Barcode used to sort and track letters and flats. Unlike the POSTNET Barcode which only contains the delivery point ZIP Code, the New Intelligent Mail Barcode contains additional fields, expanding the ability to track individual pieces and providing greater visibility into the mailstream.
