If you have Job and Client data in an ODBC-compliant database elsewhere in your operation, you can now access this data in real time instead of typing in Job and Client data. Not only will this save time but it will also ensure that your statement data is always linked to real job and client information, thereby avoiding the human error that results from manually retyping such data into DAT-MAIL’s files. As a result, the drop and statement data that DAT-MAIL can already export will be far more accurate and easier to import into other programs that require this data. If you use DAT-MAIL to automatically create statements, ODBC Connect will make sure the correct client and job info appears on each statement without your having to enter this information in advance. ODBC Connect can also access permit and mailing agent information.
If you use a commercial business management or work order system for mailers, such as Mail-Shop™, PRO-MAIL® or PrintStream®, we have special interfaces for those programs that you should use instead of ODBC Connect. However, if you are using an order management system from another vendor or one that you developed in-house, ODBC Connect will provide the crucial link you need to your Window Book software.
