GCA CONFORMANCE TESTING - This is our preliminary version of our conformance testing that can examine your MAIL.DAT files in great depth to look for errors -- without a performance penalty. Also present is new error log format that is much easier to read. We offer conformance testing at five levels:
-Level 1: Referential Integrity testing only - no field level validation
-Level 2: Field Checking: Required fields, proper data types in populated fields and referential integrity testing
-Level 3: GCA Conformance testing. Adds checks for valid values in populated fields.
-Level 4: PostalOne! Adds checks to the fields required by PostalOne!
-Level 5: Special Circumstances: For future applications.
-FREIGHT PLANNER IMPROVEMENTS
-Ability to calculate administrative fees. May calculate using per 1000, per hundred wt., per pallet or flat weight. Rates can be set for each entry point or group of entry point type in your freight tables. These charges are reflected in savings reports.
-Ability to calculate origin freight using flat, per hundred weight or per pallet.
-CSV Exports now can add column headers
-NEW TRANSPORTATION VIEW - fast, easy way to see entry points and containers no matter how large your files are. You can also access Entry Planner and Palletization Program from this screen.
-ABILITY TO SUPPORT FREIGHT COMPANY DISTRIBUTION CENTERS AND BREAKUP AGENTS.
-In your file menu, you will see two new options. One allows you to build a list of distribution centers, the other allows you to create different distribution scheme that tells DAT-MAIL which distribution centers (or breakup agents) support each mailing facility. There is a new report you can run that will summarize your mailings by distribution center so you know how many trailers you are likely to need for each. The report can also be used as a load plan so you know which pallets go to which distribution centers.
