A FAST pallet placard support option has been added (Project #2806). The program setup now has a checkbox to print FAST barcodes on pallet placards. |
| a. To support this, the Program SetupTag Defaults tab has a new check box to generate unique container ids for pallets. If the user is importing mail.dat files with CSM files populating the UniqueContainerID, this check box can be turned off and the imported UCID will be used for the barcode. Otherwise, if the option is on, a new UCID number will be generated by TagMaster at import time. |
| b. A new UCID number will also be generated for existing jobs or new jobs that are not importing mail.dat for pallets at placard print time. |
| c. A DCT change was done for this to add a UCID field to the container label file. |
| d. A control file is created at runtime to create and maintain the Tagmaster generated UCIDs. |
| e. When updating a pallet container, the update forms View Tag tab will display the FAST barcode if the UCID field is populated and the FAST option is turned on. If no UCID field is populated, then one will be assigned at print time and then the FAST barcode will be visible on the View tab if the user re-edits that container |
