(PRT# 169) 1st stage of Change Pc Wgt and Ad % modification. A new browse now exists in the View menu called Change Weight and Ad Percent. This shows all the MPU records and allows the user to change the weight and ad percent fields on screen. No separate update window will appear - click on change or double click record to edit and cursor will allow editing directly on those two fields. Use the tab key to go from Weight to Ad field. You can use the Enter Key to end changes for that record and that and other records are tagged the user will be prompted if the change should be done to all tagged records. Note: If only one field is changed, only that field is updated in the other tagged records. At this point only MPU record is updated. You must complete the process when all records have been changed by clicking on the Process Changes button. This will propagate changes to all remaining related files. CPT will be updated as well. Only files with a 1 to 1 relationship between CPT & MPU (and with no enclosures or ridealongs) will be able to use this browse. For now a message pops up indicating this and no browse is shown when the conditions are not met. In the future when the other half of this modification is done, those that do not meet these conditions will be processed by a more complex procedure. |
