Project: Pallet Tracking option enabled. (was disabled during prior release) |
| Changes Made: Pallets used in the Trailer Loading program are now created/updated as Mail.dat files are imported and when pallets are inserted/deleted during DAT-MAIL functions. The unique container ID must be present and unique in all pallet records for pallet tracking. Previously Trailer Loading pallets were exported from DAT-MAIL to Trailer Loading and built as a batch process. Because pallet tracking records are now maintained when DAT-MAIL inserts/deletes pallet records, the pallet tracking records initially exist without a PoolID assignment. A Pool must now be inserted via the Trailer Pool browse. The start date & end date are used to search for active records in the pallet tracking file that have not yet been assigned to another pool. All those records that match are assigned to the new PoolID. Once assigned to a pool, the Trailer Loading program should behave as before. |

| Note: there is a Refresh pallets from Mail.dat on the Trailer Pool browse. While DAT-MAIL creates the pallet tracking records, it does not keep all of the information in the pallet tracking database up to date (that would require even more modifications to existing DAT-MAIL code and detract from the performance of existing batch processes. So, once pallets have been added to a trailer pool, the data coming from Mail.dat can and should be refreshed by this new button prior to performing other Trailer Loading functions, especially if the user goes back to Mail.dat to make changes that would affect pallet records (run freight planner for example). |

Project: Palletization Changes |
| Changes Made: |
| 1) All of the courtesy pallet procedures (option 2-3) had to be changed to remove the BMC processing. This also included a bug fix discovered, where we found that when changing a pallet level, the entry point type was not being updated, so that when you looked at the Mother pallet view you would see for example a SFC with a BMC address. Modified the process because it had not accounted for splitting the BMC/ASF records into separate levels. This is all now working properly. |
| 2) For option 4, also had to remove the BMC processing, however had to do a logic change to handle the types of pallets being |
| created because this option essentially allows us to create new USPS pallets if we find one that qualifies and then if not create courtesy or user pallets. 3) For option 1, there was a bug when using the Segment option on some files. |

Archive now deletes & unlocks jobs progressively rather than as a batch process at the end of the archive. This should help those customer that found the process terminated before all selected jobs were archived. |

Import will no longer display "No loose containers to process" message when Auto Palletize is marked on and finds no containers to process. I |
