DM Exclusive access for zipped files. The daemon now has an option (main setupimport tab) for setting a delay in minutes that will skip over zip files until the specified "age" condition has been met. By default this option should be set to zero, but for those customers who get the "please insert next disk" error with transferring zip files to the daemon's inbox directory, this delay should be increased to 5 or 10 minutes. This allows any transfer program that does not maintain exclusive file access on the zip to finish transferring before the daemon tries to process. If a zip file is incomplete for more than the specified delay or is corrupted somehow, an error message may still occur. Try increasing the delay time or removing the corrupted zip. Prior to activating the delay, users should make sure the inbox and temp daemon (when fast network is enabled) directories are clean of any old zips. |
