In 2004 IWCO Direct began searching for a more robust software solution to support our mail acceptance process. We were looking for a vendor who would partner with us to provide a software solution that accommodated our unique mail acceptance needs while ensuring that we were always current with ever-changing US Postal Service regulations.
Among the features we required were that the software support the use of Mail.dat files, be compatible with the PostalOne! platform, handle large volume mailings, be easy to use, and save us time compared to our previous software. We began using Window Book’s Post Master™ software in 1998. In 2000 we added DAT-MAIL™ to our software. Over the many years we have been working with software vendors, we have yet to find any software vendor with the customer focus we have experienced with Lloyd Moss and his technical development and support team. Lloyd and his team take each installation personally. From the industry side we have been constant in our pursuit for improvement through innovation in an effort to drive cost out of our mailing operation. Lloyd and his team have provided a strong alliance, ready to make change to meet the needs of their customer base. Lloyd and his team are by far the most customer-focused people we have worked with in the mailing industry. Window Book was the interface we used to implement a paperless verification and record retention program with the U.S. Postal Service. Through DAT-MAIL we have been able to link to PostalOne! and are currently a pilot site for the Entry Info program.
A significant part of Window Book has been the simplicity of operating the system. Minimal keystrokes are required to generate Postage statements and Drop Ship documentation. Consolidation of postal statements and entry points are accomplished and simply by point and click.
I would highly recommend this software to anyone looking to reduce cost, from the initial data import to reconciliation of postage costs.

I was using Post Master for over 5 years and decided to upgrade to Dat-Mail™ Editor with Management Reports. It saves me so much time over manual entry statement preparation. I can actually complete a mailing statement in mere seconds! The report feature is invaluable. I can find at a moment's notice the amount of postage spent in a given period: by client, permit, time frame, the amount of mail processed, even the number of 1 foot trays used over a period of time! Because Dat-Mail™ is a database program, the ease of use and reporting possibilities are endless. I can print out a client list in minutes. I can find sales persons' client percentages in minutes. Window Book's Post Master has been an essential part of our business. Without it, the mailing statement that takes me around 2 minutes to do in the computer would take roughly 15 to 20 minutes to do manually. Also stored in the program are customers, so we don"t have to hand write all company names and addresses every time we do a statement, and Permit numbers are automatically pulled to the screen when creating a mailing for that client. We have our trust account in the computer, which saves us a lot of time because it automatically deducts the postage from the account, so the only thing we have to do is input deposits and it balances our account. We can easily find a statement from months ago, which we've had to do quite often, to show the client when the job went, how much the postage was, and how many pieces went on that day. This program automatically converts weight from ounces to pounds, which is a pain in the stickler, and calculates postage, so there are no miscalculations. We can do daily, period, and management reports to show productivity, total amount of pieces and postage, and client activity for a certain period. I can't imagine doing statements any other way. This program is far superior to any other program I've seen. It helps my business run smoothly, saves time and mistakes caused by Human error, and stores the massive amounts information, such as clients, permits, and receipts that we would have to fumble around to find if we did not have this system. In one sentence, I would have to say, I can't live without it!"

I like Window Book because it helps me to do research in how to save money and helps me find the requirements that are needed for the USPS. One example is that I needed to find a cheaper way to send a 10 pound book instead of UPS ground. The count was about 2000. I found it with Standard B, save almost $5000.00. I send this only once a year but the saving bought me new software and next year it will total savings in that budget. I also was informed that this book will be in CD form, so I will have a book and CD. One will go to Standard B and the other will go to Standard A, provided that the parcel will be less than a pound and only 1/4" thick. I also have the DMM in written form but I only use when the customer wants to see what the USPS requirements are. The computer DMM is much faster but I like the extras that is in the Postal Library. It helps when I have every thing there, like cost, design, and so on.
